The Innovative Concepts Group exists to develop new experimental platforms, diagnostics, and open-source codes that complement the direct-drive inertial confinement fusion program at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics, the scientific programs of users of the Omega Laser Facility, and research by private fusion companies.
