U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand recently visited LLE. She is an advocate for continued federal resources for the Lab, saying that LLE plays a vital role in national security and local economic growth. “Each of those scientists that’s coming here to test something is doing cutting edge research, breaking barriers, and finding solutions to the myriad of problems our scientists and companies try to solve,” says Gillibrand.
