LLE’s Summer High School Research Program excites high school students about careers in the areas of science and technology by exposing them to research in a state-of-the-art environment. In the 32 years of this program, over a hundred doctorate degrees have been earned by its participants. Shown here are the two directors of the program since it started in 1989, Dr. David Meyerhofer (top left) and Dr. Stephen Craxton (bottom left), along with several of the participants through the years (right). Applications are now being accepted until March 15th for this year’s program, running from July 5th to August 26th, 2022. Read more on the University website.
