OLUG Workshop LGBTQ+ Networking Dinner

The inaugural Omega Laser Users Group (OLUG) LGBTQ+ networking dinner, held on 28 April 2022 in conjunction with the OLUG Workshop, attracted over 20 attendees from the users group and LLE. This first-of-its-kind event, hosted by LLE Pride in collaboration with the LLE Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Council and American Physical Society (APS) Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) Pride Group, brought together LGBTQ+ visitors, LLE staff and students, and allies for a night of networking and community building. LLE Pride was founded in 2021 to welcome, support, and create opportunities for faculty, staff, students, and visitors from the gender, sexual, and romantic orientation minority communities.
