The Illustrated History of LLE has been updated with the 2022 timeline plaque. Located in the middle corridor of LLE’s second floor, the gallery is populated with 40 unique plaques and spans over 100 feet. Illuminated by overhead skylights, visitors have viewed the plaques while attending tours and conferences. Last year was an exciting year for LLE and highlighted milestones include: Christopher Deeney Appointed as Laboratory Director; The Flash Center for Computational Science Moves to the University of Rochester; Groundbreaking for the LLE Building Expansion; LLE’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council; and LLE Research Points Toward an Improved Understanding of Dense-Plasma Environments.
