Experiments by outside investigators at the Omega Laser Facility require compliance with LLE safety regulations. In turn, to verify assurance for the home institution, visitors are welcome. During one such visit, shown left to right, are LLE’s Radiation Safety Officer, Walter Shmayda, and Chief Safety Officer, Doug Jacobs-Perkins, as well as Wal Provart and Dave Egan from the Orion Laser Facility in the United Kingdom.
