Reuben Epstein Named American Physical Society Outstanding Referee

December 16, 2019
Reuben Epstein

Reuben Epstein has been selected by the American Physical Society (APS) as an Outstanding Referee, an honor conveyed annually upon only ~150 of the ~74,000 active referees. Like fellowship in the APS, being chosen as an Outstanding Referee is a lifetime award. Honorees are selected based on the quality, number, and timeliness of their reports. They will be recognized at an upcoming APS meeting. The Outstanding Referee Program was instituted in 2008 to recognize scientists who have been exceptionally helpful in assessing manuscripts for publication in the APS journals. Dr. Epstein is only the second LLE scientist to ever be so recognized, and is one of nine total selected from the University of Rochester.
