The LLE BEST (Broad Exposure to Science and Technology) Research Program, created for Rochester City School District (RCSD) students and teachers, began its third year earlier this month with expanded participation. LLE mentors from all areas of the Laboratory will visit East High School to provide presentations and demonstrations over the summer in addition to the participants touring LLE. The BEST Program engages RCSD high school students and teachers in the sciences and technologies that support LLE’s research. This broad exposure helps guide students in their pursuit of STEM fields and encourages them to explore STEM careers.
