Longtime LLE Photographer, Eugene Kowaluk, Retires

On Monday, January 30th, coworkers, family, and friends gathered to celebrate the retirement of longtime LLE employee, Eugene Kowaluk. Kowaluk has worked at the Laboratory since 1979 serving in many different capacities, but most notably as LLE’s esteemed photographer. His amazing images have captured the history of the laboratory and have been published in numerous publications including Scientific American and National Geographic, and provide the visuals for all of LLE, including the majority of this website. His presence and talents will truly be missed!
