International Joint Diagnostic Workshop

The National Nuclear Security Agency and the French Commissariat à l’énergie atomique (CEA), along with investigators from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the Sandia National Laboratory, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, held a two-day workshop at LLE. The diagnostic status of the large facilities were discussed, including x-ray imaging, detectors, and spectroscopy; optical and nuclear diagnostics; and streak-camera development. The inset shows the contingent of French researchers from CEA.
