Four LLE senior scientists received Fusion Power Associates (FPA) awards for 2017. Theory and Experimental Division Directors, Valeri Goncharov and Craig Sangster, respectively, jointly received the Leadership Award; former Director (retired) and University Professor Emeritus Robert McCrory received the Distinguished Career Award; and Assistant Professor Adam Sefkow received the Excellence in Fusion Engineering Award. FPA is a nonprofit research and educational foundation, providing timely information on the status of fusion development and other applications of plasma science and fusion research. Since 1996, LLE scientists have received eight FPA awards.
