Christopher Deeney Named Deputy Director at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics

Chris Deeney will join the University as deputy director at the Laboratory for Laser Energetics beginning August 30. He previously served as chief science and technology officer, National Security Directorate, at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, in addition to his years of experience at the Nevada National Security Site, the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration, and the Sandia National Laboratories.
