Quick Shot

The 50th Anomalous Absorption Conference 2022 was held 5–10 June in Skytop, Pennsylvania. The event was hosted by the University of Rochester’s Laboratory for Laser Energetics and organized by LLE scientists Dustin Froula, John Palastro, and David Turnbull, with support from Raka Ghosh. Conference topics included theoretical and experimental studies in parametric instabilities, radiation hydrodynamics, particle acceleration, high-energy-density physics, short-pulse laser–matter interactions, and inertial confinement fusion.
