Cryo Pump Isolation Project

The installation of a cryo pump mounting system that isolates the OMEGA target chamber cryo pump vibration from the OMEGA target chamber and from the OMEGA Target Bay floor is shown, left: before clearing of the area on 17 December, and right: after final installation and testing on 11 January. The team included Milt Shoup (Principal Investigator), Jarrett Shamlian (Project Manager and Mechanical Engineering), Tony Agliata (System Engineer), and Bob Peck (Electronics and Controls). The Experimental Operations Group performed the installation.
