Victor Zhang is currently a Ph.D. candidate in mechanical engineering. He earned an M.S. degree in physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, and an M.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Rochester. His research focuses on laboratory astrophysics, includingy and simulation of magnetized collisionless shocks, ion-electron energy partition, and particle energization. He is also interested in plasma diagnostics such as electron radiography.
