Congratulations to Jason Puth, who has been selected as Omega Facility Division Director. An alumnus of the University of Rochester (MS Optics, ’01) and Allegheny College (BS Physics, ’99), Puth brings extensive laser facility management experience to the role. He previously served as Operations Manager (2011–present), Frontend Laser Systems Group Leader (2008–11), and OMEGA EP Sources Subsystem Engineer (2001–08). Puth is a qualified OMEGA EP Shot Director and has held operational qualifications for OMEGA Shot Director, as well as Drivers and Sources roles. Since 2018, he has served as Laser Safety Officer, further demonstrating his commitment to safety and excellence at LLE. Please join us in welcoming Jason to his new role leading an amazing team.
