Irem Nesli Erez

PhD Student

Nesli Erez is a Ph.D. candidate in the physics department at the University of Rochester. She obtained her B.Sc. in industrial engineering with a double major in physics from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey. She is currently working on MHD simulations, designing experiments to create and study magnetized warm dense matter, and machine learning to determine the mass of black holes from jet properties based on simulation data.
