The NLUF program provides access to the Omega Laser Facility for university and industrial scientists to perform basic science experiments. LLE encourages scientists from diverse fields to propose experiments utilizing the unique capabilities of the Facility. The call for NLUF experiments in FY26–27 is a solicitation of proposals for facility use only. Only proposals led by researchers with an academic or non-profit institution or the private sector from the U.S. will be considered for this call. Please see the solicitation document for details. Please include a three-page overview for the proposed NLUF experiment in your submission file. The LLE three-page PowerPoint template is provided here for your use.
