LLE is embarking on a new tradition that aims to highlight the importance of community to better build on the values and vision of the laboratory. Over 50 volunteers helped with building, upkeep, and gardening at YMCA Camp Northpoint to prepare for its community summer camp as part of the United Way Day of Caring program. This was an opportunity for team-building amongst the LLE workforce while connecting with the community that surrounds our facility. LLE’s commitment to building a more-inclusive workplace by giving back and participating in the event received great support and was well received by the community and LLE staff.
