Central Valley offers an 18-hole course, complete

Mansion Ridge Golf Club, located in Monroe NY
Nicklaus Design 6,800 yard championship 18-hole

Town of Walkill Golf Course
This is an 18-hole championship course opened
in May 1992. Lessons, driving range, and locker rooms available. Also offered

Stony Ford Golf Course, located in Thomas Bull Memorial
Park, Rte 416 in Hamptonburgh NY
This is an 18-hole, par 72 course and offers
food and beverage service.

HIKING
West Point/Highland Falls Trail, located in Highland Falls
NY
This trail is a 5.5 mile route through the U.S.
Military Academy at West Point and the Village of Highland Falls. It passes
all the historic sites of the Academy. For more information call 914-938-2638.
Black Rock Forest, located on Rte 9W in Cornwall NY
Northwest of West Point, marked and unmarked
trails ranging from short walks to long hikes. Fires, bathing, and camping prohibited.
The Visitor's Center is located on Contental Road across from the 9W entrance

Heritage Trail, located at 6-1/2 Station Road in Goshen
NY
This is a converted railbed of the Erie Railroad.
An 11-mile section has been completed from Museum Village, Monroe, to the village
of Goshen. Eventually a 20-mile trail will be cleared from Middletown to Harriman

Crows Nest, located in Cornwall NY
This is the Storm King section of Palisades Interstate
Park, on Rte 9W South of Storm King Mountain. The brief write up states there
are no marked trails, faint paths, but has good views. For more information

Mountainville Conservancy of Storm King Art Center, located
on Schunnemunk Mountain in Mountainville NY
There are six marked trails ranging from 1.6
to 8.1 miles. Excellent views. The Storm King Art Center is also home of one
of the world's great sculpture parks. It's situated in the beautiful Hudson

Bear Mountain State Park, located in Rockland County NY
You may enjoy hiking, swimming, boating, and
fishing at this scenic state park, located on Route 9W, just south of the Bear
Mountain Bridge. A trailside zoo with four museum buildings and numerous outdoor
exhibits related to local environment and the Hudson River are additional attractions
of the park. The park is open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. For more information

Museum
of the Hudson Highlands, located on The Boulevard in Cornwall-on-Hudson NY
A regional natural history museum that focuses
on the rich diversity and splendor of the Hudson River Valley's natural heritage.
The museum also includes Ogden Gallery, nature trails, and a gift shop. Summer
hours are Monday through Thursday: 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturday: noon to 5:00
