Before joining the LLE, Arnab was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Rochester where he worked in the area of chemical physics, theoretical chemistry. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in physics from the Department of Physics, University of Rochester in 2014 where he was an Agnes M. and George Messersmith Fellow. His thesis in mathematical physics addressed the problem of renormalization in scalar field theory. Before moving to Rochester, he received his B.Sc. (Honours) in physics from the Chennai Mathematical Institute in 2009. Besides his diverse research interests, he is passionate about teaching and has taught a course in Nuclear Physics at Rochester Institute of Technology in Spring, 2014. During his leisure time, he enjoys playing games such as squash and soccer and doing photography.
